Wood Carving Progress

This is the progress that I have made over the last couple weeks working on my wood carving project. I'm starting to create form in my piece. I have found that wood carving is a difficult but rewarding process. The wood itself can be unpredictable which is frustrasting but also makes carving more interesting because I have had to learn how to work with and understand the wood. My plan is to continue creating the form of the mountains. I'm excited to continue working on this project!
