Lunchtime Lecture Reflection

I really enjoyed the lunchtime lecture, and the way that the artist explained both her process of making her work and her professional process of going to artist recidencies and getting her work into shows. I thought it was really interesting to hear about how she wasn't sure what type of art she wanted to do in college, and switched between many different majors and mediums before deciding to focus on weaving. One thing I'm curious about is how she makes the different natural dyes that she uses in her piece. That is definetely something I would like to learn more about. Her use of more sustainable materials makes me consider how sustainability and art can work together.
