Figure Drawing Reflection

Figure drawing was a super rewarding experience. I don't usually draw figures or include them in my pieces but I still find figure drawing a helpful tool to teach me about movement and value. I found that working from life made it easier for me to not flatten the figure too much. I tried to focus the most on capturing the movement of the figure. I found that focusing on twists and curves was the most effective way to capture movement. Overall, I'm super glad I got to have the experience again this year.
