Graphic designers are people who use digital design software to create captivating designs, often meant to force audiences to pay attention to a particular message. They often create images or designs for print and digital publications, as well as advertisements for various brands. A big part of the job of a graphic designer is meeting with clients, and being able to effectively take their feedback. The typical entry level education for being a graphic designer is a Bachelor's degree. Some visual design training or experience is also usually required in order to become a graphic designer. Many colleges offer specific graphic arts or graphics design degrees or programs. Those that don't almost always have graphic design related courses as a part of their general fine arts program.
